Remington Pearl Pro Curl 32mm

Just yesterday I bought a new Curling Iron

called

**** REMINGTON Pearl Pro Curl ****

Set includes:

1. Curling Iron

2. Heat proof pouch

3. Protection glove

******

The Curling Iron:

- 32 mm barrel
- digital display
- 130 to 210°C
- Fast heat up in 30 seconds
- Cool Tip
- Auto Shut off after 60 minutes
- 3 m swivel cord

Very nice "girlish" look due to the flowery design :)

Product claims:

" Remington's exclusive Ceramic coating with real Pearl provides even heat across the barrel whilst styling.
The professional tong shape is easy to use by simply wrapping your hair around the barrel to create beautifully soft curls and waves that last"

NEW REVIEW!!!!

Sorry for not uploading a review of it.
I tried the curling iron twice after purchasing it, but was very disappointed with the results. Somehow it did not hold any curls no matter what I did. Especially due to my sleek hair texture, I had major problems to see any curling effect, which was really disappointing and frustrating....
In the end, I returned it and I am still looking for another one.

MAC Powder Satin Blush in Cubic

I really had a hard time to like blushes actually

Whenever I applied it - I felt that it just looked so unnatural and fake. Some tend to look streaky or tend to enhance my oily cheeks

That's why I never spent a lot of money on them....and usually skipped this make-up step...

anyhow I have heard so many great reviews about some MAC blushes, that in the end I actually purchased one too.

And till now it is my ALL-time favorite blush!!!!!

MAC Powder Blush Satin in "Cubic"

MAC powder satin blushes are so easy to apply, because even though you apply it on your face once or twice, it still looks really natural somehow due to the "satin" finish

I love these MAC blushes because they don't have a strong chemical smell to them and do not cause any skin irritations or pimples

"CUBIC" is so far my most favorite blush, because it is kind of an "all-rounder". You can use it at any season of the year, it just gives you a little hint of color, without looking unnatural

Finish: satin, sheer, matte

Color: rosé tone

amount: 6g / 0,21 US oz.

As you know- I am NC 25, prefer more a natural-looking make-up look. For everybody, who has a similar taste like me, this blush will be perfect!!

I never regretted that I spent around 20 Euro on it, because it will last me a pretty long time.   It will suit anybody who is between NC/NW 15-30. If you have darker skin tones, this blush won't be perfect for you because it's color might be just a little bit too light for you.

If you are looking for a new, natural blush for your extended or beginner's collection, I would highly recommend this one!

Hair oil & treatment Review

Since I dye my hair regularly I noticed that especially the ends of my hair got really dry and damaged.

I often straighten my hair on daily basis which makes it even worse.

That's why I have tried tons of hair treatments but most of the times it was just wasting money.

A lot of hair oils make your hair heavy, sticky, oily and just gross. I am looking for a product which is light in it's texture/ feeling, which smells good, and which manages to better my frizzy and dry hair. Achieving a new healthy "shine" in my hair would be awesome too :)

I will compare 2 hair oils by L'Oréal, which I bought a few weeks ago:

1) L'Oréal Professional Expert "Liss Ultime Reflexium"

2) L'Oréal Elvital "Oil Magique" for colored hair

This one was released on the German market a few weeks ago. It is for colored hair and has a UV filter.

Leave-in oil

Just apply 3-4 pumps in your hair- before or after washing it.  It is used to protect your hair from any heat /hair dryer or straightener

Bottle contains: 100 ml

claims to protect your colored hair and to let your hair color "shine" again

Price: around 7 Euro

Smell: a little bit odd, smells like alcohol

This hair oil claims to protect your hair from heat damage as well.

It is a straightening and "thermo-active" oil

Leave-in oil

Apply it in the ends of your hair after you've washed and towel dried your hair

Claims to make your hair soft and straight + protecting it from further heat damage

Contains 50ml /1.7fl.oz.

Price: around 8,50 Euro

Smell: very nice

OVERALL:

If you compare these two, I liked the last one so much more. It made my hair really soft, not sticky or heavy. Its smell is just wonderful and I really have the impression that this product helped to improve my hair condition and avoid further damage to it.

The "Oil Magique" wasn't as good as expected. It doesn't make my hair as soft as the other product. Furthermore I can still "feel" that this product is in my hair, which is not the case with the "Liss Ultime" one.  Moreover, I really disliked the smell of this product, which is weird for a hair product. It does not smell like nice flowers or so, but more like alcohol....

I would definitely recommend the "LISS Ultime" one, even though you get only half of the amount for the same price, but it is totally worth it.
I totally regret that I bought the "Oil Magique" because I feel that I just wasted my money. Instead I should have bought the "LISS Ultime"

Eyelash Extension Xtreme Lashes Review & Tips

I always dreamed of having long and full lashes

My natural ones are pretty short and thin (typical for Asians), and I had to put a lot of effort to make them visible and sexy looking

Another problem was also that they are pretty straight & tend to go downwards instead of having a nice, feminine curl

I have heard a lot about Lash Extensions the last few couple of months but never actually considered it as an alternative. The procedure was just too pricey and furthermore I was really scared that the extensions will damage my own ones.

But after thinking about it for a pretty long time, I decided to get them for my first time  3 months ago. I already had 3 refills done and I have to admit that I could no longer live without lash extensions ^^  I got so used to them and I guess it would feel really strange not to have them... It makes my face so much more beautiful and it is great to wake up in the morning and looking great

I got a new refill 2 days ago

My lashes look really full and curled =)

Luckily, my own lashes didn't get damaged so far

A good procedure is when only 1 "fake" lash is applied. Some apply a whole bunch on one of your lashes, which will lead to further damage of your own lashes.
If only one is applied, it will fall out, when your natural lash will too.
So please remember- the best extension procedure is when only 1 single is applied. The extensions will definitely last so much longer and won't damage your own natural lashes.
An additional advantage is that your lashes look much more natural :)

A professional lash expert will also pay attention that your lashes won't stick together to prevent early damage.

Here you can see that the lashes go upwards, having a nice curly form

In real life they look really natural :) Till now people never recognized that I wear fake ones. Friends of mine just mentioned " You look awesome today" without being able to tell why

I would recommend it to everybody, who wants full and nice lashes + who is annoyed by using fake lashes all the time, which you have to apply everyday

Costs:

very pricey!

The very first session usually costs around 180 to 200 Euro (1 refill is included most of the times)

Refills usually cost 30-50 Euro, depending on how often you get them per month. I usually pay 50 Euro because I get 1 refill a month

Be AWARE of cheap offers, most of the time it is not worth it! Better go to a professional one and pay a bit more, but the result will be soooo much better and they will last longer

One procedure takes around 1 hour, maybe little bit more if it is your first time.

TAKING CARE of your LASH Xtensions

When you get eyelashes done, don't wear any eye make-up before the session!

1. When getting Lash Xtensions, avoid any contact with water for 48 hours. This is very important because the glue needs some time to reach it's full potential

- avoid sports (sweat)
- avoid swimming
-avoid sauna & solarium
- avoid using mascara

2.  Brush your lashes every day with a small lash brush to divide your lashes

3. Never use waterproof mascara, because it will be too difficult to clean your lashes at the end of the day.

3: Never use oil-based make-up removers or lotions, because it will destroy the glue and all your expensive lashes will fall out

4. Clean your lashes carefully!!! Never rub your eyes with your hands or towel

5. Avoid using eyelash curlers (also heated ones) if it is not necessary

6. the best is to wash face and eye area separately especially if you use soap-based cleansers

Here my Cleaning Tools

Oil-free Eye-make up remover by BALEA

Q-tips
(just to remove eye shadow, eyeliners- do it carefully)

Eyelash brush

Water
(just rinse some water over your lashes (no soap) to get rig of the mascara. To remove all residues of it, you may use your fingers, but very carefully)

OVERALL:

Honestly, for me it was really hard at the beginning not to rub my eyes automatically and not  to clean my face with one single face wash

Especially at the beginning you need so much time to clean your lash extensions, but the time will get less luckily

I was really paranoid to lose any lashes and was always really careful. During night I also wear a pair of glasses (cheapfake ones) to protect them at night. It really helped to last them longer than usual

Long-Lasting Liquid Eyeliners

Liquid Eyeliners are definitely one of my most important make-up tools

If I had to pick just one product, it would be an eyeliner I guess ^^

? Why Liquid ?

I have Asian eyes and they often become oily during the day. Whenever I tried to wear normal pencil liners, they tend to smudge and I look like a raccoon after only a few hours of wearing it.

Liquid liners tend to stay the whole day and some on the market are incredibly good and look good 24 hours per day

Here are the ones I love:

1) Etude House "Oh m'Eye Liner" in black

2) Catrice "Eye Liner Pen" in 040 (black grey) for a more natural liner

3) Essence "Cherry Clossom girl- 2in1 eyeliner pen (semi permanent in black)

very left: Etude house (black)

left: Catrice (grey)

both right: Essence 2in1 eyeliner  (black)

I love all these 3 Eyeliners:

The Etude house one is very nice because it is definitely water-resistent and stays on all day without smudging

The Catrice one is great for a more natural look, if you don't want to have a very strong black line. It also stays on for the whole day without smudging too much. The only thing I dislike is that it feels really like a pencil and you have to apply it several times to get the right, even color

The eyeliner by Essence is nice because it can draw a thin as well as a thick line. It is also more like a pencil but easier to apply than the Catrice one. It also stays on for a pretty long time

Great liquid liners can be also found:

THe FACE SHOP ones + other Korean brands, because they use to stay on the lid forever :p

MAC Matchmaster Foundation 2.0 NC 25 Review

A few months ago, I discovered this new MAC foundation online and read many good reviews about it.

The most catching part of this product is that the product claims  to be not too yellow (NC)/ too pinkish  (NW)- perfect for people who have a more "neutral" skin color

I used to use MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation for a couple of years, but I often had the impression that it was just a little too yellow for my skin tone.

I use the shade 2.0 which should suit people with NC 25 -30.

The Matchmaster Foundation is in a glass bottle, typical for MAC foundations

It already has a pump included, which is not always the case at MAC

amount: 35 ml / 1.2 US fl. oz

SPF 15

Price: 33,50 Euro

Color range
:

from 1.0 - 10.0

(different to the usual color numbering like NW/ NC 15- ...)

MAC claims:

"New Foundation technology using translucent pigments to enable a fully personalized finish influenced by the subtleties of your own skin's undertone.

Moisturizing demi-matte finish with line-reducing soft-focus powders. Medium buildable coverage offering broad spectrum SPF 15 protection."

MY OPINION

Color-wise:

really nice because it definitely suits my skin tone better compared to the other

foundations by MAC.

Color Tone 2.0 is great for people with NC 25.

I also tried the color 3.0 but was just a little bit too dark for me

Oil Control

I think oil-control-wise it also does a very good job, even though the Studio Fix might be better in oil control if you compare these two. This foundation leaves a nice, natural looking sheen to your skin

Scent:

Does have the typical MAC scent to it, a little bit chemical but still ok

Texture:

not too liquid, more "thick" in consistency

Application:

easy to apply and blend, it automatically melts somehow into your skin and doesn't feel "heavy" like some other MAC foundations. I like this "light" feeling when wearing it.
You can easily apply it with any brush or even fingers and it will look great

Finish:

Compared to Studio Fix etc. this finish is so much more natural looking. Due to the fact that it melts into your skin, your skin looks even and a little bit dewy. Very nice finish I would say.

Contra:

If you have drier areas on your face e.g. around your nose, this foundation tends to enhance these areas than hiding them. That's why you should always use a good moisturizer on the drier areas.

OVERALL:

4/5

From my Opinion, the best liquid foundation by MAC!!!!
