Review The Face Shop Oil Cut Pore Balm

The Face Shop - Oil Cut Pore Balm 

I bought this product exactly one year ago when I stayed in Korea for a couple of weeks during spring

It reminded me of Benefits "Dr. Feelgood" but was waaaay cheaper 

You also have to apply it with a sponge on certain areas with enlarged pores and increased oil production like nose and forehead 

For oily skin types 

The Product:

Smell: slight smell, minty 

Texture: Like a wax, same texture as "Dr. Feelgood" by Benefit

Efficiency: small amount will be enough, for punctual usage only 

Finish: pretty matte 

My Opinion:

- Definitely a smarter and cheaper alternative to Benefits "Dr. Feelgood"

- creates a matte finish 

- smell and texture are just fine, not irritating whatsoever 

- similar to "Dr. Feelgood"-  complicated to use in combination with liquid make-up 

- Tends to look streaky and is hard to apply over any foundation 

Better to use it with powder foundation on the top. With liquid foundation definitely not recommended
